Marrow ERP Private Backups
A separate copy.
A clearer recovery plan.
A proposed internal backup service for Marrow Industries Private Limited (Cossy Seating), designed to keep encrypted database copies in the owner’s Google Drive.
Information only. These pages cannot sign in, connect an account or read business records.
How it is intended to work
Separate steps for reading, protecting and storing data. A backup will count as usable only after its contents can be restored and checked.
- 01 / READ
Export from the database
A dedicated job in a private GitHub repository would read the authorized Supabase database. The job temporarily processes unencrypted records; it must not change live records.
- 02 / ENCRYPT
Protect the recovery copy
The job would encrypt the export before upload. The owner would keep the recovery private key separately, outside the automated job.
- 03 / STORE & VERIFY
Save to private Google Drive
Drive would receive encrypted files. Upload, readback and an isolated restore must be verified before the scheduled service is activated.
A limited Google connection
Backup files.
Not your whole Drive.
The intended Google permission is drive.file: access to files created by the app or explicitly selected for it. It is not permission to browse all Drive files, read Gmail or access your calendar.
The runtime permission and the selected owner account still need to be verified during connection setup.
What this service is not
- Not a new ERP, customer portal or replacement login.
- Not an automatic recovery system that overwrites live data.
- Not a guarantee of uninterrupted backups or zero data loss.
- Not yet a complete copy of every system asset: stored file contents and configuration coverage require separate checks.
Before activation
Database permissions, encryption and key custody, Drive access, a real upload and restore, and failure alerts must be tested.
The proposed daily job would keep 30 days of its own new backups. Cleanup starts disabled. Paid usage must be blocked before activation; provider limits may interrupt free operation.
The intended failure-alert service is also pending. Do not rely on these pages as evidence that a backup or an alert has run.
Information pages are not backup activation
The company name and support contact have been confirmed by the owner. The backup service is still being configured. Publication of these pages does not activate Google access, run a backup or certify the system’s security. Connection and recovery tests are required before activation.
